Many of today’s day spas are still designed around the traditional day spa concept of providing a full day of pampering. The vast majority of today’s spa goers, however, simply do not fit this mold. 90% of today’s spa goers are busy women who don’t have entire days to indulge themselves. Instead, they are simply trying to carve out a few hours. Although they welcome this respite from their hectic days, and pampering is part of this time out from their lives, first and foremost they are looking for a treatment that most effectively addresses their specific needs.
At Violet Clinic, we have designed the approach at our London day spa around the modern spa goer. The treatments are the center of our universe, focusing primarily on effectiveness, with a generous dose of luxury and relaxation thrown in for good measure. The environment is simple and clean, aesthetically interesting without the weight of the normal spa pretensions or attitude. Our people are friendly and welcoming, with a fanatical devotion both to helping people and to excelling in their fields of expertise.
My training, work experience and any achievement
We pride ourselves on the unique atmosphere of our salon - blending our Polish roots with our travels across Asia and the best of Western spa culture.
Our treatments also reflect this global approach to beauty. We have learnt in some of Thailand and India’s oldest massage schools and combine these ancient techniques with cutting edge beauty therapy from the States and Eastern Europe. When calling to book an appointment or even to discuss a query with us, we like to ask you to leave a clear message with your full name and a contact number if the answering machine informs you we are serving customers. We promise to call you back as soon as possible.
Cancellations
We require a minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice to be given on all lengthy appointments or a 100% fee may apply.
Parking Information
There is parking available at: Hamiltion Terrace, Abercorn Place or Nugent Terrace.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers are available for any amount, but must be used before the expiry date, which is 6 months from the purchase date.
Violet Clinic Etiquette
* We recommend that you arrive a few minutes before your appointment so you have time to check in, fill out our consultation card and unwind.
* Please be aware that cancellations must be made 24 hours to the treatment, otherwise a full cancellation fee will be charged. We regret that it may be necessary to treat appointments as cancelled for clients arriving more that 15 minutes late.
* Please advice us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you suffer from any medical conditions, injures and allergies or if you have any special requests when asking your booking as some treatments may not be safe or suitable to be carried out.
* We kindly ask that you turn your mobile phone to silent mode when you arrive to allow you and our other guests to relax.
* If you are uncomfortable with anything during your treatment (the pressure, the music or temperature) please feel free to let your therapist know as they will be more than happy to make any necessary adjustments.
* Please feel free to talk during the treatment or to stay quiet, as you choose. The therapist will follow your lead.
* Children under the age of 16 may have treatments as long as they are accompanied by adult who has signed a consent form. If the child is between 16 and 18 years of age they can have treatments without an adult, but the adult must sign a consent form. All junior treatments to be approved by the Spa Manager.
